Nita Needham is the daughter of Espérance members Nellie Knowles and Vic Ghirardi, and was Mary Neal's god-daughter. It was Nita who gave Mary's papers to Lucy Neal.  Nita's aunt, Esther Knowles was the Pethick-Lawrence's secretary.
