Folkworks Programme Manager at The Sage Gateshead

I have work for Folkworks since the mid 1990s, transferring with the rest of the Folkworks team into the integrated management of the Sage Gateshead at its formation in 2002.

I work alongside Folkworks Artistic Director, Alistair Anderson, programming folk concerts and events in The Sage Gateshead plus Folkworks festivals such as the Hexham Gathering and the Durham Gathering in other parts of the North East of England. I am currently working on our fiddle festival, Fiddles on Fire, which takes place in both Gateshead and London in April 09.

I am an exiled Cotswold Morris Dancer and past member of Black Annis Women's Morris.
